Quality Control


SHIPPING

The following criteria applies to shipping policies:

  1. SHIPPING will be made in accordance with any customers specifications and obey the following guidelines:
    1. Shipment weighing less than 200 lbs will be made by ups when Practical
    2. Shipments in excess of 200 lbs will be made using a customer Direct trucker
    3. All shipments will be made on a freight collect basis
    4. All shipments are sent F.O.B in Woodside, NY
    5. BILLS OF LADING will contain the following information:
      1. Customers name and complete address
      2. Date of shipment
      3. Total number of cartons shipped
      4. Customer item code and corresponding Acme code
      5. Total weight of shipment
      6. Total number of pallets shipped
      7. Any special delivery instructions

    6. PACKING LISTS will contain the same information as the bill of lading, but will also contain the following information in the detail section:
      1. Total number of pieces shipped
      2. Customer component number
      3. Acme part number and material
      4. Number of cartons and packing in each carton
      5. Customer purchase order number
      6. Any required

    7. TRUCKERS will acknowledge receipt of the shipment by signing the following:
      1. Number of cartons and pallets
      2. Date of pickup
      3. Packing slip (when requested)

    8. The shipping manager will lead or monitor the loading of all shipments. In addition , the QA manager may be present.
